I cannot emphasise how important it is utilise Twitter and Facebook marketing for your business and I am often told by people who have just got involved how annoyed they are with themselves that they didn’t get started earlier because they would now be reaping massive benefits.
I know only to well that some aspects of internet marketing are full of hype but I can assure you that this is not the case with Twitter and Facebook, in fact, when I am planning a new business venture one of the first things that I do is to set up a Twitter and Facebook account for marketing purposes.
As you probably know, it is completely free to open the accounts and I am going to tell you something which will ensure that you get the best possible success from this form of social media. You often see software advertised that promises to get you thousands of Facebook friends or Twitter followers and then which also promise to run these accounts for you, posting content etc but please believe me when I tell you that you don’t need anything like this, in fact if you go down this route it will cause nothing but trouble.
The only thing that you need to remember is that if you go out of your way to post and tweet interesting and informative information, your list of friends and followers will increase and they will be far more responsive than if you just use those spammy techniques that are often regarded as the best way forward.
You will find that a relationship is formed to such an extent that when you tweet to your Twitter followers that you have added a post to your blog that they might find interesting, many of them will go and take a look at what you have to say. Now just imagine if you are releasing a new product, a high number of highly motivated visitors to your website will result in an enormous amount of sales.
Now if your friends and followers had previously been receiving constant rubbish from you, a recommendation that they visit your blog will do nothing more than fall on deaf ears, and that’s a fact.
The funny thing is though, it is actually easier and more enjoyable to interact with your social media contacts in a positive way so why not get started as soon as you possibly can, you won’t regret it, I promise you!
