You will probably already know that Google have made it quite clear that websites with content that is added on a regular basis are far more likely to rise up the search engine rankings as opposed to those that have a minimum amount of content are are not updated very often.
That is all well and good, I can hear you saying, but how an earth to you keep on top of adding content on a regular basis, after all, don’t you have 101 other things to be getting on with?
Before I go any further I will tell you what not to do, don’t look for any short cuts, you know, spinning software which claims to produce thousands of article for you from a click of the mouse, if you have seen the quality of this content you will understand why if you use it, your website or blog will drop like a lead weight down through the search engine rankings. I never did like spun articles and could never understand why they were so popular, especially when you consider the results that they used to throw out and it now looks like people who based their business on them, are now no longer in business.
Now, back to what you should be doing, if you can afford to outsource your content writing it won’t really be a problem to keep on top of things but if you can’t, try to break the content writing down into manageable steps. There is nothing worse than sitting in front of your computer with the task of writing thousands of words but if you say to yourself that you will write 400 words each morning before you do anything else it will be far easier.
That is exactly what I do, just a few hundred words at a time and you will fin that you will reach your goal far more quickly, your goal being to have a website which is regarded as an authority site by Google because it is updated with fresh and informative content on a regular basis.
Once you make writing like this a habit you will find that you do it without a second thought and just imagine for one minute how that content will mount up over the months and years ahead, it really will turn into something quite extraordinary and the profits that you make will reflect the hard work that you have put in.
